In this post: A better sex life is on the way.
After a long day of writing, cleaning, dog-walking, or whatever your life is filled with. When all you want is to just grab a glass of wine and sink into a bath full of Epsom salts and lavender. When all of your muscles are tired, your mind is drained, and your emotions are overtaxed. Then your hubby gives you the come hither look. And you think… You have got to be kidding!
What if there was a secret weapon? A little switch that you could flip on and suddenly be “in the mood” for a little love? Wouldn’t you totally jump at that?

I know for many women chocolate and a bubble bath sound way more enticing than sex at the end of a long day, but I also know that sex is supposed to be awesome in marriage. And too often we women devalue sex, and end up losing out on something amazing that God created for us!
I want everything amazing that God has for me!
Including an awesome sex life!
That is why I went in search of some help and found Sheila Wray Gregoire’s Boost Your Libido course.
I’ll be honest, I’ve only just started the 10-video course, but I know it is going to be life-changing! Best $$ spent in a long time. 🙂
For those of you who don’t know Sheila, she’s the “Christian sex lady” who blogs at To Love, Honor, and Vacuum. She’s so down to earth, and she’s so open about her own struggles. In this course, Shiela is funny and knowledgeable and she will really help you to understand yourself better.
The truth is, we women don’t really understand our own libido. How many of us have thought that something was really wrong with us, either mentally or physically, because we are not panting at the sight of our husband? Seriously, who hasn’t thought this before?
There is nothing wrong with you! This is real life! And it’s time we take back our enjoyment of sex. Time to get into the mood.
Who doesn’t want a better sex life?
According to WebMD, an active sex life has some amazing health benefits above and beyond orgasms. “People who have sex have higher levels of what defends your body against germs, viruses, and other intruders.” They also have lower blood pressure, lower risk for heart problems, and sleep better.
Also, did you know that orgasms block pain? So, apparently, the migraine/headache excuse is mute! Just Sayin’!
One of my favorite things about the Boost Your Libido course is that you don’t have to wait until you finish the course to start your libido revving up! Right in the first lesson, you will learn some tips and tricks to get things going again. Yeah!
As Christians and as mothers, we don’t often discuss our sex lives, but we should. Sex is a beautiful and quite awesome, if not somewhat comical, gift from our amazing God. We need to honor that. We need to do whatever it takes to not only honor that gift but enjoy it to the fullest!
